Nicaragua Adventure Tourism on the Rise

For the adventure tourist, Nicaragua pretty much has it all; volcanoes to hike, sand boarding down a volcano, world class surfing, boogie boarding, kite boarding, road cycling and mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, SUP, zip lines, etc.  What we lack is the infrastructure and tour companies that can provide set or custom tours to individuals looking for a more adventurous holiday. I have done all of these things here except surfing and SUP so we still have a couple things to try out.

The good news is that the various tourism agencies in the country see this is an opportunity are are looking for ways to capitalize on this market.

Because of our background as avid backcountry enthusiasts, triathletes, gym rats, runners, cyclists, etc. we are uniquely qualified to offer this kind of adventure holiday to our hotel guests. At this moment we are developing a set adventure package, that we will start to offer clients within the next month, that focuses on small to medium groups that want an active holiday or even something that can become part of their annual training cycle.

So stay tuned for more announcements from us in the coming weeks.
