We all have our favorite Nicaraguan food. There are 2 or 3 on this list that are near the top of our list. Then there is the Nacatamal. I love it for breakfast or dinner but it seems to be a more traditional breakfast dish.
Vigoron...Found on street corners and kitchens throughout Central America, primarily Nicaragua and Costa Rica. While technically a salad, it resembles one only in the vaguest way. While consisting of only three components, it requires all three to avoid it being a confusing or outright un-enjoyable mess.
