I had one of the most relaxing experiences after a long day of work. Stopped by to have a drink before heading home and I ended having one of the best ceviches in town, sitting at their comfortable terrace overlooking the sky lights of Managua. The ambience is very laid back, relaxing and inviting to have more of all the amenities they have to offer. I will be coming back for more!

El Mirador Suites is the perfect place to stay when arriving or leaving Nicaragua. Living on the beach 3 hours away from the airport it’s a great option to use El Mirador Suites for their super comfy beds, high pressure hot showers and enjoy the mellow vibes. The hotel is ultra clean, tastefully decorated and the food is fresh, healthy and yummy. I will stay here every time I’m in transit in Nicaragua. I hope they always have room for me 🙂

I had the opportunity of hosting an event at El Mirador Suites and Lounge. I must say the level of service provided by the owners was just fantastic! They were very courteous and had every detail planned well ahead of time. The suites are very well designed and very spacious. Located very close to the city centre makes it very convenient to find and navigate around. Overall a great experience!!

I just stayed here for two nights as a layover before my tour of Nicaragua & the beach. Michael and Shannon were super responsive to all my questions, and made sure I arrived safely from the airport. Their little hotel is great! Everything is new, it’s impeccably clean, and a great location — super good part of Managua, with embassies and mansions, but still has an authentic Nica feel with street food, festivities, and I even took a tuk-tuk taxi to the mall. My room was HUGE! It was inside facing the courtyard, and pretty quiet, My breakfasts were substantial, with lots of fresh fruit. It was like staying with friends. For a single female traveler who wants to feel safe, this is a good option because they’ll arrange for a transfer from the airport. They also sent their staff member, Roger, with me and we took a taxi and toured Managua. Roger is local and speaks English really well. Thank you Michael and Shannon and I hope to be back soon!!

I’ve now stayed at Mirador Suites twice during short trips into Managua. The place is a perfect gem! Shannon and Micheal are such wonderful hosts. They have put a lot of love into this hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable and the shared spaces are cozy. We really enjoyed having a happy hour outside with the breeze and view of the lake. You’ve gotta ask for their ceviche!!! If you’re lucky enough to be there on the weekend you can enjoy the lovely Nacatamals (traditional Nicaraguan dish) for breakfast or their homemade muffins. The breakfast is a really enjoyable and there’s lots to choose from! The hotel is really well located and is ideal for a short business stay or if you have any appointments at the hospital it is perfectly situated. It’s also a very comfortable transition if you are on holiday and just need an overnight in Managua (you will wish you were staying for 2 nights!). Thanks so much for making us feel at home .We will definitely be back over and over again when we need a place to stay in Managua!

Managua, July 20th, 2016 First of all thank the kind invitation of Shannon and Michael to such a wonderful place on Thursday 14 July, 2016. I was able to be received warmly by Shannon and Michael in a very cozy, quiet, cool place, I felt like I was in my own house. I must say the decoration, furniture, color scheme and ambience; room design and color combinations are wonderful. Shannon and Michael have a special gift to make it all work great, in fact, are the best hosts ever. I work for the field of health and tranquility of patients outside the hospital is crucial for their prompt recovery, so I fully recommend “El Mirador Suites and Lounge “and if you want to make sure about about what you have read visit https://www.turismocanica.com and you will see how beautiful and you see how beautiful the Mirador Suites and Lounge is Roberto B Hospital Metropolitano Vivian Pellas

We stayed in the beach house for two nights in early March 2016 only due to Michael’s generosity! The house was easy to find (for Nicaragua) with a car, which in my opinion you need. We brought some groceries and drinks with us. Marcelo (he lives on site and looks after the place) greeted us at the gate and was very friendly and accommodating. Marcelo introduced us to his wife and daughter who also helped with cleaning. We barely knew they were there actually! We all had our own room and bathroom. The towels were lovely thick fresh towels we are used to, the hammocks were fantastic and there were 6 of them! The views were amazing and we had all we needed. We went into town for dinners which was easy with a car. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio and spent the day on the beach with the boogie boards. The wifi worked great which allowed us to make plans for our next location in Nicaragua. The beach was really quiet and it couldn’t have been better to end the day at sunset while boarding in the surf with just our friends nearby. If you are looking...

We stayed at this lovely home for the week, it was very accommodating for our large family. The staff was caring and went beyond there duty’s. Home is just steps away from the beach and a leisurely 2 mile walk to the small town of Pochomil.
