Very friendly host, comfortable rooms – Malou

We had a very enjoyable stay at El Mirador. The staff is lovely, they made us feel very welcome. The host Michael was super helpful with arranging and providing transportation to and from the hospital, the mall, the airport, Granada etc. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the food was delicious, especially the granola and the pancakes! #pancakes #grumpybeetle #clean #comfortable #elmiradorsuites #managua #nicaragua

“Great house, great hosts!” – Ena

We had visited Nicaragua and had avoided Managua because of traffic, noise, heat, you name it. This stay in Managua was great because of Michael and Shannon’s great accommodations. Their house has a perfect balance of location, comfort, space and privacy. You get a sense that you are staying in a very comfortable Nica house. When I travel, I like to be comfortable, yet have a sense of the country I’m visiting. Michael and Shannon’s house accomplishes that. They are prompt and attentive in researching any questions and concerns, and their staff is friendly and attentive. Their breakfast menu is flexible, with delicious local choices. We definitely will return!

“Our home away from home in Managua!” – Sarah A

Wow, talk about feeling right at home at El Mirador Suites and Lodge- thanks to these fabulous hosts Shannon and Michael! We were blown away with their kindness when they offered to cook us dinner as they knew we had a late night arrival into Managua from the United States. We arrived with our cousin to find Michael standing outside to help us with our luggage and we were shown our family room with two doubles- it was absolutely perfect for us- white bedding, colorful accents, carafe holding water for us, great bathroom and with the A/C on. We then were taken to the dining area after relaxing in the patio area with wine where we met their darling kittens-where we had a fantastic feast of chicken, sausages, and pork along with quinoa salad, green salads, bread, and killer desserts. We were so appreciative of the food, especially on site, after a long day of travelling. We truly felt at home. My kids were already in love and wanting to relocate to Managua. “This was the perfect landing in Managua.”

The hosts, Mike and Shannon, are warm, generous and very accommodating. They helped us with everything from drivers to diapers. They were very patient with our toddler and indulged her with baby kittens. The house is quite lovely, cool, fresh and quite comfortable. Our breakfasts were hearty and delicious. “More comforatble than home with healthy breakfast to start the day”

This converted house is extremely comfortable and a wonderful respite for travelers. I loved my experience here. There was a cool carafe of water waiting for me in my room. What a great touch! The coffee was Twin Engine, the best coffee in Nicaragua, which was another great surprise and kept me energized the whole time. Mattresses, Sheets, Towels – all were new and of super-high quality. I really felt like I was at a spa sometimes. I highly recommend El Mirador. #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #managua #nicaragua
