Wonderul welcome to Nicaragua!

What a wonderful way to begin our first time visit to Nicaragua! From start to finish, our 3 night stays were exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable in every way. Shannon and Michael are the most welcoming hosts you will ever find. They assisted us with reliable airport pick ups, car rentals, as well as recommending and arranging tours and dining in Managua. The El Mirador is well located with smartly appointed rooms complete with all the amenities you would ever need for a perfect stay. Hoping to return to Nicaragua, we would certainly choose to call the El Mirador “home” again! #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #nicaragua #managua #review #testimonial

“Best place in Managua!”

We have been so happy to choose at El Mirador. The hotel is very well located, very clean and equiped (hote water & our room #4 was very big compared to the regular rooms in Nicaragua) and Sharon & Michael & Roger have been very helpfull and welcoming, you can feel like at home. And the breakfast was just perfect with excellent coffee. We will definitely return to this hotel for our next trip in Managua! #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #nicaragua #managua #review #testimonial

“Our home away from home”

Circumstances necessitated a prolonged stay in Managua. We arrived as anxious grandparents, all the way from Australia and have just returned after spending three months at El Mirador Suites and Lounge. We can vouch for the excellence of the staff, the food, the service and most of all for the caring attitude of our hosts, Shannon and Michael who did everything they could to facilitate our stay. El Mirador is a beautiful place, small enough to feel like home, and spacious enough so you do not feel confined – the rooms are large, and there are a variety of spaces where you can chill out, you can read in the lounge, relax in the garden, swim in the pool or muse on the verandah as you look over Santo Domingo towards Lake Managua in the distance. We have forged long lasting friendships and left with a heavy heart and fond memories. #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #nicaragua #managua #review #testimonial

“A beautiful Inn!”

Our stay at El Mirador was fantastic. Beautiful property, beautiful room, delicious food and wonderful hosts. Michael and Shannon waited for our late arrival and had a delicious meal ready for us not long after arrival. Our stay could not have been any better and would recommend this place to anyone. #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #nicaragua #managua #review #testimonial

“Truly a “home away from home”!”

First off Michael and Shannon are delightful people, always friendly, pleasant, accommodating and charming. The hotel is pretty with lots of greenery and views over Managua. The common areas are clean, modern and with ample and comfortable seating on 3 sides. Our King size suite was what you would expect in a 5star hotel: huge, bright, clean as a whistle and had everything one might need (iron, hair dryer, hi-speed internet, easy chairs and a desk etc etc). The bed is super comfortable. The star of the show is the impressive breakfast (included!)! I counted 8 different kinds of healthy breakfasts from American (with hotcakes) to home made Granola the size of a serving bowl for 4 people. Their special Grumpy Beetle Pancakes is to die for – do not miss! 🙂 We’ll be back! Having tried to navigate Managua (with not one single street sign!) in our rental car, we strongly recommend you avail yourselves of their airport shuttle and spare yourself the blood pressure spike! “Great find!”

In November after spending a week at the beach near San Juan del Sur, my husband and I needed a hotel for one night before our flight the next day. We had read great reviews about El Mirador Suites online and wanted to give it a try and support former Calgarians. We were not disappointed at all. Food was fantastic and both Shannon and Michael went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Comfy beds and huge room with a king size bed. They took care of arranging a driver to take us to the airport the next day. I wish our stay had been longer. Maybe next time!! #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #managua #nicaragua #testimonial #comfybeds

“Great Place to Stay”

This was our first time to Nicaragua. From being picked up at the airport onwards our time with Michael, Shannon and staff was exceptional truly making us feel at home. We very much appreciated the hotel, food, cleanliness, and friendly service. We received great advice on what to see and do during our time in the country. The pool was a nice way to finish off the day. El Mirador is highly recommended. #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #managua #nicaragua #review #testimonial

Great boutique hotel experience

A very decent bed and breakfast type boutique hotel with on site managers/owners looking after their guests. Top notch service and communication throughout the stay. We need to be on the south side of Managua for an events and this place was a perfect fit. #testimonial #review #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #expedia

Superb rooms and great service!

The hotel is close to the main road that goes to Managua and to Masaya, Granada, etc. There is a med. size supermarket and pharmacy 5 blocks away. Attention to details in rooms and other areas of the hotel and especially great hospitality from the owners. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are newly done; I stayed one night, and I’ve got exceptional service and prompt attention to all my questions and needs #testimonial #elmiradorsuitesandlounge #expedia

Gold stars for Michael and Shannon

Excellent owners that go beyond to ensure your stay is both pleasant and comfortable. The entire complex was super clean which is as a guest is something I have high expectations for. “”An All-Round Amazing Experience””

From the moment we arrived at the El Mirador Suites and were graciously greeted by Shannon and her wonderful staff, we truly felt welcome and at home. We can’t stress enough how much of a gem this beautiful property is and how it served as our home away from home! We had the pleasure of spending our first two nights on the front end and two additional nights on the tail end with them, during our 9 day visit to Nicaragua (clearly not enough time to properly be immersed!). Both Michael and Shannon were more than accommadating in assisting with the planning portion of our itinerary. We expressed to them some of the places/things we wanted to visit/experience and they provided suggestions, direction, and sage advice, based on their own personal experience and exposure in the country. This proved to be an invaluable and critical piece to the planning of our adventure and we appreciate the time, effort, and energy they spent organizing it all for us! During our stay, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts (be sure to try the pancakes!), lunches, and dinners…possibly a few glasses of vino were consumed too! A huge thanks to Roger as well, who was...
